Let me Introduce you: Toulouse! #4

Hello Everybody!

This summer/fall I took time for myself and revitalized myself and went to France quite a long time.
Usually I stay maximum 2 weeks everytime I go/fly to France, and it is always a run. I have to rush to meet everyone of my friends and family, and therefore I cannot enjoy the time with them as I wish.
But this time I had time, and this was amazing: Paris, Bagnoles de l'Orne, Argentan, Carrouges, Vires, Saint-Hilaire du Harcouet, Avranches, Carolles, Paris, Bordeaux, Arcachon, Pyla sur Mer, Toulouse, Paris - That was my revitalizing trip in France! I did not documented everything, if you want to see more you can check my IG under @annflos !!!

And here is Toulouse, where I visited a friend, who I met in Berlin, my Lovely Meli :-D

Just in case, here is a little map, then you can situate where Toulouse exactly in France :-)

Here is the Quai de l'Exil Républicain Espagnol (Quay of the Spanish republican Exile) and L'hôpital de La Grave taken from the Quai de la Daurade (my favorite neighbourhood in Toulouse, where the best Lebanese Restaurant of the city is)

Some cute house made of some kind of red bricks, like everywhere in the city, thus Toulouse is called La ville rose (The pink city)

Here is Le port de la Daurade (Habour of the Daurade) taken from the Quai Lombard, with the cute terrasse of the Café des artistes, where it is so nice and cute to take the Apéro (but FYI it is very expensive) !

On this pic is a part of the Basilique de la Daurade - And yep even a basilica is in Toulouse made of red bricks :-)

In the Rue Jean Suau are some nice pubs, restaurants and bars, still in the Neighbourhood of La Daurade, including the quoted Lebanese !

The Arcades around the Place du Capitol are just gorgeous !

The famous and beautiful Place du Capitol was taken at sundown and I love it !

The Rue de la Trinité brings us to the Place de la Trinité also a very nice place to take the Apéro on a terrasse!

1 Song 3 Versions #9 -- All Day and All of the Night

Hello everyone,

And this is the number nine of my favourite post category: my dear 1 Song 3 Versions.
How did I get to choose this song? I knews the original version, I knew The Kinks, but I did not know, that they were the band who leads to this orignal masterpiece... ( Pretty dumb :-P )
Nevertheless, this song is the MONDAY MOTIVATION song of a friend. In fact she posted it on her Facebook profile, not a long time ago, and Voilà !
I let you guys discover, rediscover, enjoy, love, note the song and its different versions.

Red Ballerinas Review #3

Hello everyone,

I recently decided that I want to post again onthe blog. I once read a comment on one of my posts asking if I was not blogging anymore.
The fact is that I am not a professional blogger. I want to be able to post whenever I wish. For me is blogging a hobby for I have no envy sometimes. But once in while I really feel the need to post.

Why did I take the decision to make a new Red Ballerinas Review? It is actually very simple: I love shoes and I am presently looking for a new pair.
This search started when I had to throw away my last pair of red ballerinas, almost constrained, as my dear Papa told me that I was embarrassing him with my destroyed shoes - not detroyed in a cool way !!!


The first pair: ASOS

I love this pair as they are not classical ballerinas, more a mixed lace-up / booties / ballerinas. They can be find on ASOS.com and more a own label ! Unfortunately I would prefer they a leather material.


The second pair: TOMS

To be honest I never liked the slippers weird things from TOMS, just the fact the a part of the paid pricegoes to nonprofit. BUT this pair of comfy look ballerinas ae so cute ! I found them on a german online shop called Görtz.


The third pair: PETER KAISER

Those ballerinas look a bit very classical at first sight. Nevertheless those remain a bit excentric with its red-black Ombré patent leather.
I found this rare pearl on the online shop ZALANDO.com.


The fourth: ZARA

Those are more burgundy than red, and really common but the kind of python/crocodile/ostrich patern makes them gorgeous! As almost ever pair of shoes which you can find on ZARA.com.


My Decision:
None of them is a match for me.
I could have ordered the ones from ASOS but I am not a real fan of fabric shoes... so sad :-(

1 Song 3 Version #8 -- Stay with me Baby

Hello music lovers !

Previously on the number 7 I said it and I will keep on saying it, I amm really passionate about music.
Therefore I think this topic will come in a reccurent way!
I remember hearing this song back then at home, but I rediscover it, when I was listening to the soundtrack of the great movie "Good Morning England"

I hope that you will enjoy this song and the selection of artists' versions.

The second Version: The greatest Janis Joplin



The third Version: the lovely very modern DUFFY



I think that all those versions are very close to one another, but all three artists are/were incredible talents with suche particular voices, which make the 3 versions still different to each others !
There are by the way lots of other covers of this song, but I kept it short !

Let me introduce you: Franconia! #2

Hi every one!

I know I left Franconia, Nuremberg and his region.
But it is not because it was not nice but just became a bit too small for me.

And I want to share with a nice sunny sunday that I spent in Lauf-an-der-Pegnitz.
Here is a little map to help you to situate this lil towm.


I found those pictures in my folders, I don't even remember when it was, but I think it wa a short time before I moved to Berlin.
I'd say in April.
