Let me introduce you: Franconia! #2

Hi every one!

I know I left Franconia, Nuremberg and his region.
But it is not because it was not nice but just became a bit too small for me.

And I want to share with a nice sunny sunday that I spent in Lauf-an-der-Pegnitz.
Here is a little map to help you to situate this lil towm.


I found those pictures in my folders, I don't even remember when it was, but I think it wa a short time before I moved to Berlin.
I'd say in April.

When Spring came back ...

Christmas Market / Christkindlesmarkt

First I wish you a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011 !!!!

Then I want you discover this great christmas market: Christkindlesmarkt from Nuremberg!
It is the most famous one in Germany. As I heard it's not the biggest but the most traditionnal. You have everything you want: Gluehwein (hot wine), Drei und Weckla (three small sausages in bread: the original german Bratwurst!), Gebratene Nuesse ("fried" and sweet nuts: the best is for me with macadamia nuts :D , toys, cloths, christmas tree decorations, etc ...

The best thing to do is to have a look at the pics I've done.
As usual, I'm not a photographer, I try to share what I like, I just take pictures for fun.

Winter in Nuremberg

Hi,

Once again some pics of Nuremberg, my beautiful town :)
Under the snow, with a grey sky, it might see a bit sad, but not for me: that remains BRIGHT !!!

And even if it is cold outside (I heard that last weekend it was -12°C in the afternoon in Nuremberg, I don't think that it's getting so down in Paris ?!?! Am I wrong?), there's the Xmas Market "Christkindelsmarkt" one of the most famous and traditional in Germany, with hot wine "Glühwein" ... DELICIOUS !!!
(I'll do a post on this Xmas Market)
