Bavarian Style: Oktober Fest 2010 !!!

Hey!

As I already told yo, I'm in Bavaria for 4 weeks now!
And I went to Munich for the OktoberFest (Wiesn we say in the region, in German of course !).
That was an awesome day! Many different people, sunny and warm weather!!!

You have to know that most people there wear the traditional outfit of Bavaria, for men the Lederhose (which means leather trousers) and for women the Dirndl (the traditional dress).
I could be there without my Dirndl, but I just found it when I arrived in Munich!!!

A friend and me before I found my Dirndl
Cardigan from H&M
Navy top and leather suede bag from La Redoute
Hat from Zara Men

My Favourite Nailpolishes

Hey Guy!

I know that it's been a while!
You know what it is, when you're in a new city, you have so much to do, to discover!
It's very exciting, and takes so much time!

Today, you're going to a look at the colours I prefer for nailpolish: that's a dagration of plum-coloured and chocolate.
The first one is a L'Oréal one, Resist & Shine TITANIUM color 606. He is just awesome, easy-use, stays as written on the bottle up to 7 days!!!
The second is a Sephora Lack Nailpolish color Choco n°8. He is also great, easy-use, stays quite long, not so much as the L'Oréal one, but still awesome!
The last one is an Essence colour & go color n°31 hypnotic poison. This color is like perfecttion for me, something between plum and chocolate. But the quality is not so great. Whatever I LOVE the colour !!!

From left to right: L'Oréal, Sephora, Essence

The L'Oréal one wore.

The Sephora one wore.

The Essence one wore. (And a cutie find, a piece of furniture, found during bulky day!!! )

Bye bye! See you soon :)

Action Buffalo London at GÖRTZ 17

Hello guys!!!

If you read my short (life) story, you know that it's been already 2 weeks since I arrived in Nuremberg.
My first entire weekend, I already had time to just take a look at shops in the city.
That was a great walk!! Indeed, as I enter the shop GÖRTZ 17 in Breite Gasse, a girl came to me and asked me if I wanted to take part of a game for trying to win a weekend in London or a voucher for Buffalo shoes! Then, of course I asked how it is working?
The answer: choose a pair of shoes (Buffalos of course) to make a great outfit and I take a pic of you with it. Then it will be on FB, and on the window of the shop :)
JUST WHAT I LOVE !!!

Thus I chose, many pairs that can fit the best with my outfit of that day.
Why many? Because I'm wearing size 41 (UK 8), and it was according to the stock of the shop !!!

Take a look!!!

On the Window shop!

You can as well take a look on the website of Görtz, they have a great collection of Buffalos (online shop, but in german). But I already made a small selection of my favourites:

Flashy is narrating... Flashy raconte...

Nuremberg …

ENGLISH

How did I get in this "little" (in comparison to the french capital city) town of Bavaria, me who is from Paris, all the more so I always had a way to escape and breath fresh and non-polluted air as I wish, because I have family in the conutryside (in Normandy and Britain)?

The first reason, that I am now since 2 weeks in Nuremberg is that I found a job here (... well, after a whole year of "student" job, which were not of my studies level).
But there is some kind of logic, in what led me to this position. It is important to knw, that I have some strong attaches to Germany since a long time, I am a great fan of this my first journey there!!!
This passion engendered like a leading in my professional choices.

Let's go back to the "Why of the How" - quite sure it is a bad translation - !

My first contact with "Germany" was during the schoolyear 1992-1993, that is to say the year, when I was at 5th grade. It must be taken into account that, that year, was experimented for the first time in my elementary school foreign languages lessons, but we had just the right of german. Therefore, in 5th I was already able to say: « Hallo, ich heisse Anne-flashy, und ich bin zehn Jahre-alt », which means: "Hi, my name is Anne-flashy, and 10 years old" ! However, as I had a german teacher who spoke french very badly, I been taken on a nickname vaguely closed to my name, but totally ridiculous: Anne-Fleury - would be Anne-Floral - !!!
When I think about it now, I mesure how much a 10 years old kid has no right to "choices".
Indeed, arrived in 6th grade, my parents did not give me the possibility to choice my first language: thus it was german! Nevertheless, I am going back over my narration, because I cannot imply that I am blaming my parents, by making choices for me (I am not from the same generation as Suri Cruise, who can do whatever she wants, whenever she wants at what age ... 3 or 4 years old ???)it is the opposite, I followed a good way, at my own and non-objective appreciation, of course!
But according to my loved parents, I always had a sort of "a hell of a strong personality" (for avoiding to say a sh*ty character), and already at the age of going to 6th grade, I did want to be like everybody in my "schoooool !!!". I did want to learn english like the majority, again as a matter of few choices, I chose german, as first language, and for another reason which is that the secondary school / junior high school, where I got in, had no other proposal than english or german!!!

To be continued ...

FRANCAIS

A suivre …

You read me !!!
